As we step into the vibrant month of June, we are thrilled to welcome the sunshine, warmth, and the exciting activities we have planned for your children at Akira Academy Daycare and Preschool. June marks the beginning of our summer season, and we have a lot in store to keep our young learners engaged, happy, and thriving.

Celebrating Milestones

June is a time of celebration and transition. Many of our preschoolers will be preparing to move on to kindergarten, and we are incredibly proud of their growth and accomplishments. To honor their hard work, we will be hosting a special graduation ceremony on June 15th. Families are invited to join us as we celebrate this significant milestone with songs, certificates, and plenty of smiles.

Summer Camp Kickoff

Our Summer Camp program kicks off in June, and we couldn't be more excited! This year, our camp will feature weekly themes designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and fun. Some of the themes include:

- Science Explorers: Hands-on experiments and discoveries

- Sports Extravaganza: Fun physical activities and teamwork

- Culinary Creations: Cooking classes and healthy eating habits

We encourage you to enroll your child if you haven't already. Remember, registration fees are waived for those who sign up before May 15th, 2024. Our summer camp promises to be a memorable experience filled with learning and laughter.

Special Events in June

Father's Day Celebration

To honor the amazing fathers and father figures in our community, we will be hosting a Father's Day event on Friday, June 14th. The children have been busy creating special gifts and cards to show their appreciation. We invite all dads to join us for a morning of fun activities and heartfelt moments.

Outdoor Play and Water Fun

With the arrival of warmer weather, we will be incorporating more outdoor play and water activities into our daily routine. Please ensure your child comes prepared with sunscreen, a hat, and a change of clothes. We believe that outdoor play is essential for physical development and creativity, and we are excited to make the most of the sunny days ahead.

Educational Focus

Our educational themes for June will revolve around summer, nature, and exploration. We will engage the children in activities that encourage observation, creativity, and a love for the environment. Some of the highlights include:

- Infants: Sensory play with water, sand, and nature-inspired materials to stimulate their senses and promote cognitive development.

As always, the health and safety of our children and staff are our top priorities. With the increased outdoor activities, we remind parents to pack appropriate outdoor gear and ensure their children are wearing comfortable clothing suitable for active play. Hydration is key, so please make sure your child brings a water bottle each day.
